"Phases and trends happen because there is a need for them and I will be very happy if there is no need for them because women are empowered. As long as women are in need of being recognised, I think this phase will continue," said the 32-year-old actress.

Kalki, who is active on the theatre front too, has starred in commercial hits like "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and "Happy Ending", and has balanced that with power-packed performances in off-beat films like "Dev. "Today, young Indian girls like to wear traditional outfits with a casual edge. We do a lot of printed lehengas with pockets," Dongre told in an email interview from Mumbai.

"Even if you are all decked up as a bride, your personal style should always shine through. It’s not about doing an over-the-top look anymore,” she added.

The designer, who is not only a celebrated name in the Indian fashion industry but also successful entrepreneur, thanks to her brand AND Design India Pvt Ltd, believes that a "bride must look like herself, just more beautiful on her special day. She should feel like a princess, light on her feet, who dances at her own wedding".

Instamag-Dressing tips for college students for monsoonDharmender Khanna, Director Categories, at e-commerce platform ShopClues, shares some interesting dressing tips, where you can counter monsoon woes with style and comfort.

♦ When it comes to choosing footwear during monsoon, jelly shoes, flats, floaters and any other sturdy footwear will be your best pick. Leather shoes or sandals are a strict no-no during rains as they tend to soak water. Also avoid slip-ons or loose sandals that would squirt mud on you.

♦ For frizz-free hair during the rainy season, style them into a neat bun or tie them in a ponytail or a braid.

♦ Your denims might not be a comfortable wear during monsoon as they take more time to dry. It’s better to go for cotton shorts and capris.

A study published in the journal Psychology & Marketing says successful dieters focus on adding healthy foods and reveals that health-plan successes are determined by approach or avoidance strategies.

"Our research shows that instead of creating rules to avoid one's favourite treats, dieters should focus on eating healthy foods that they enjoy," said Meredith David, Assistant Professor at Baylor University in the US.

Dieters who restrict themselves from consuming the #foods they love most may be setting themselves up for failure. Instead, they may be better off by allowing occasional "treats" and focusing attention on healthy foods, revealed the study.
